courbes du vent
lignes du temps
cette vie n’est que rivage
devenir nuit
devenir ciel
cet océan d’étoiles
en l’Amour disparaître
puis soudain revivre
ici dans un poème

C est beau !

Lovely poem, Frederic. I especially enjoyed the opening of the wind curving time. And then the ending of reliving life in a poem. Just wonderful.

Sorry, my French has faded away, do you have an English version of this?

Thank you for your comment.
You can try to with Deepl just to grasp the literal meaning…
I tried to translate but was not satisfied and finally wrote something new!
Wind curves. Lines of Time.
I’m standing on the shore.
Night. Sky.
An ocean of stars.
I begin to live
then disappear into Love
before being born again
in a poem of yours.

Frederic, I’m glad I revisited this poem to read your English rendition. As Jason said, there is a more natural flow when you are the creator of both the French and the English. I so respect anyone who is multilingual. Duo and I are making progress though I still have a long way to go!!

Thank for your comment dear Rachel, you know in French we have an expression « traduction trahison »… translation is betrayal! I’m not sure translation is betrayal but for sure it is difficult!
